April 8 - Peller Anna énekel, Oláh Viktor cigányzenekara játszik

Anna Peller and the Victor Olah Gypsy Band will perform in the House of Hungary on April the 8th, Tuesday, at 7 pm. Anna is a well known singer for many different styles, operettas, musicals, and even rock songs. Viktor Olah prime violinist was a founding member of the 100 member gypsy band, Andras Csanya played double bass in the Rajko’s for years, Sandor Kuti at the cimbalom is an old friend of ours. April 19 - Disco Party
TIME: Saturday, April 17 at 6 p.m.
LOCATION: Hall of Nations
Zalatnai Cini canceled her concert on the 19th, Saturday, and we decided to have a disco party instead with the help of DJ Joe Gaspar. The disco starts at 6 pm in the Hall of Nations, and is free for our members, and just $5 for non-members. Hungarian sausage sandwiches and all kinds of drinks will be available for sale. If you have not signed up on Evite yet, and would like to come, please reply to this email with the number of guests coming.
April 26 - HPR Spring Festival
TIME: Saturday, March 26 at 3 p.m.
LOCATION: HPR Stage Area

SZOMBATON: A minden hónap negyedik szombatján délelõtt 10-12-ig megrendezett játszóházzal szeretnénk lehetõséget adni a San Diegoban és környékén lakó óvodás korú magyar gyerekeknek, hogy együtt játszhassanak magyar nyelvû pajtásaikkal. A játszóház célja, hogy lehetõséget nyújtson a magyar nyelv gyakorlására, megismertesse a gyerekeket magyar gyermekdalokkal, mesékkel, Magyarországon híres mesefigurákkal, körjátékokkal, csoportos játékokkal, így gazdagítva a gyermekek magyar szókincsét. A játszóházban a kicsiknek lehetõségük nyílik kézügyességük fejlesztésére is, gyurmázhatnak, festhetnek, rajzolhatnak, vághatnak, hajtogathatnak, stb. Minden érdeklõdõt szeretettel várunk!
SATURDAY: Every month on the 4th Saturday the House of Hungary offers a Playhouse for the younger children of Hungarian origin living in San Diego County to meet each other from 10am-noon every month on the 4th Saturday. The purpose of this “Kindergarten” is to provide a place for the little ones to get acquainted with the Hungarian language and enlarge their vocabulary through nursery rhymes, fairy tales and their famous figures, and child’s play. They can also improve their manual skills by using playdough, painting, drawing, cutting paper figure, making origami, etc. We are welcoming all new comers!
